Do you know the difference between CBD and RSO oils?

The differences between CBD oil and RSO - what you should know about them

There are 480 chemical compounds in cannabis, 80 of which appear only here. Despite the large number of substances contained in cannabis, two of them lead the way: these are THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol). In terms of properties, these substances differ significantly and find different applications.

THC is a compound that has a psychoactive effect on our brain, causes a feeling of euphoria, stimulates and supports the production of dopamine (happy hormone) in the body. Fun enthusiasts look for cannabis with the highest possible concentration of THC to guarantee themselves extra energy and the proverbial "kick". CBD, on the other hand, is not suitable for recreational purposes as it lacks any psychoactive effects. CBD has calming and pain-relieving properties. As we can see, CBD is the complete opposite of THC.

One plant - two oils

Hemp produces two types of oils CBD and RSO

The dominant ingredient in RSO oil is the THC described above. The high THC concentration in RSO oil makes it poor in other cannabinoids. It lacks terpenes and flavonoids. Despite this, Rick Simpson, known worldwide for producing RSO oil, has cured over 5,000 people of the most serious cancers with it.

In many cases, RSO oil is produced by amateur methods that use alcohol and high temperatures. These factors adversely affect the properties of CBD oil. CBD oil, thanks to professional processing, remains rich in flavonoids and terpenes, thanks to which it provides much better results during therapy.

The role of CBD and THC

These substances are characterized by different properties, however they complement each other. CBD primarily oversees the proper functioning of THC. There is more and more talk about the use of CBD itself in medicine. The research undertaken concerned the effect of CBD on the human nervous system. THC in turn allows you to fight pain by relaxing mental and physical tension.

Are you interested in the character of Rick Simpson? Shall we write an article about him? :)
